Ezekiel Wheels

A bicycle is a great way for commuting. Marshall might be a small town but it is a big place to get around. Ezekiel Wheels is a program for supporting the transportation and mobility needs of the Valley community. We are privileged to assist students with bicycles to ride around Marshall and the area. The program has been around for a number of years and it is especially appreciated by international students who come to Valley and don’t have a car or other transportation.

At Missouri Valley College we recognize that not only are bicycles a healthy alternative to a car, but they also help alleviate traffic and parking space. Nevertheless, there are few simple rules for protecting yourself, your bike, and those around you. First, bicycles are considered vehicles and all cyclists have to follow the same traffic rules and signs as motor vehicles. Second, please wear proper safety equipment, including a bicycle helmet. Finally, don’t forget to take good care of your bicycles and to return them at the end of the semester.

If you need a bicycle or need more information on the Ezekiel Wheels Program, please contact the office of the Chaplain at 660.831.4276 or petrovn@moval.edu.
