Accreditation & Program Delivery
The Missouri Valley College School of Nursing, MSN Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Nurse Educator Track is currently in the process of being approved by CCNE.
Coursework is delivered 100% online, providing the flexibility working nurses need to balance their education with work and personal life.
Courses are offered in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

Admission Criteria
- Application and admission to Missouri Valley College and School of Nursing & Health Science. (MVC MSN Program Nurse Educator Online Track Application)
- Current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, and Arkansas.
- Submission of official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended and on file with the MVC Admissions Office.
- Completion of transcript review with an academic plan of study completed by nursing and/or nursing-approved faculty.
- BSN from a nationally accredited program with a minimum of B in all nursing courses/clinicals.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Students who have completed Pathophysiology for Advanced Nursing Practice, Pharmacology for Advanced Nursing Practice, and Advanced Health Assessment within the last five years and earned a B or higher may transfer a total of 9 credit hours.
- Submission of two professional references.
- Satisfactory criminal background check prior to the first semester of nursing coursework.
- The School of Nursing & Health Sciences faculty will review all applicants for meeting admission criteria.
