Accounting is the language of business and accounting professionals track all the financial operations of companies. A bachelor’s degree in accounting offers a multitude of career options in auditing, corporate accounting or management services. Our program will prepare you for entry to mid-level jobs and provides the necessary coursework for students to work toward a master’s degree in accounting or a certified public accountant certification.

Through courses in accounting, taxation, managerial accounting and fraud examination, you’ll learn to input, analyze, interpret and report financial data. Programs

Degree in Accounting

Our degree program primarily includes courses in accounting and business. Additional courses are taken in computer information systems and mathematics.

Minor in Accounting

Many students who major in business or finance also earn a minor in accounting. Requirements include 18 hours of accounting coursework. All students minoring in accounting are required to take courses in basic, intermediate and managerial accounting. Students also must take an elective course in topics that include accounting computer applications, fraud examination and taxation.
