Reese Fraley is a Sedalia, Missouri native and has been teaching and performing professionally since 2018. Before moving back to Missouri, Reese went to the University of Oklahoma and currently holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Modern Dance Performance. In Oklahoma, she was exposed to many talented artists in the studio (Ailey II and Dallas Black Dance Theatre) and performed various works on stage choreographed by Paul Taylor, Jiří Kylián, Gus Solomons Jr., Tommie Waheed Evans, and more with Contemporary Dance Oklahoma. Reese’s teaching is heavily influenced by those that she has worked with, really focusing on the foundation of dance technique, while still allowing students to explore their own creativity as artists. This will be Reese’s first year at Missouri Valley College, serving as a Fine Arts Admissions Representative and Adjunct Professor of Dance.
