Johanna is a LPC who became licensed in the state of Missouri in 2012.  She received her Undergraduate degree from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO in 2006 with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Drug and Alcohol Studies.  Following completion of her Undergraduate degree she earned her Masters in Community Counseling from Webster University in May, 2008.  Following her education Johanna began her work in the field of working in substance use with the adolescent population.  Johanna obtained her Provisional License in 2010 and completed her supervision to become fully licensed in 2012.  The majority of Johanna’s work has been in Community Mental Health in positions of an outpatient clinician as well as administration, and more recently private practice. Johanna began her journey as an instructor through the MACC program in 2013. Johanna’s areas of expertise are working with Child/Adolescents as well as adults with Anxiety, Depression, and survivors of trauma.  Her favorite treatment modalities are Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
