Valley Partners With Mizzou On Ed Specialist Degree
Missouri Valley College Education master’s degree students now have an easier path to an Education Specialist degree at the University of Missouri Columbia.
President Joseph Parisi has signed an articulation agreement with the University of Missouri-Columbia to facilitate the enrollment of MVC students into the Education Specialist degree program at Mizzou.
To be eligible for this accelerated admissions opportunity, eligible students must have a 3.5 GPA and must submit letters of recommendation. They will be able to apply up to six credit hours of Missouri Valley coursework toward a degree in the Education Leadership and Policy Analysis Education Specialist program.
“We’re proud to partner with the University of Missouri in the best interests of our students,” Parisi said. “This will be an attractive option, for sure.”
Parisi formalized the agreement in a meeting Dec. 3 with Kui Xie, Dean the College of Education and Human Development.
