MVC Students Compete at National Conference

Missouri Valley College’s contingent of participants in the national Sigma Tau Delta (international English Honor Society) conference in New Orleans has returned home, and Eva Agcaoili finished second in creative nonfiction, and was recognized with a convention award for work she presented at the conference. Eva is a senior majoring in English and strategic communications.
Other MVC participants included psychology major James Phillips, president of MVC’s Sigma Nu chapter of Sigma Tau Delta; Senior English major Toni Randle; junior special education major Kaya Gorrow, chapter treasurer; and chapter advisor Claire Schmidt, discussant for two student sessions.
