Join Us At Career and Tech Expo Dec. 5
Missouri Valley College is offering you the chance to unlock your future at a Career and Technology Expo being held on campus Dec. 5 in the Malcolm Center gymnasium from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
This is the perfect chance to look into careers such as nursing, cosmetology, truck driving, construction, law enforcement, heavy equipment, agriculture, and more. Professionals in all of those careers will be on hand to answer questions. Some of the employers on at the expo include: Ag Power, Capital Railroad, Indian Foothill Park and Recreation, Integrated Agronomy Advisors, KMMO, the Missouri Department of Corrections, Monnig Industries, the Saline County Health Department, YMCA, and more.
Career centers on site include the Saline County Career Center, the Lex-LaRay Career Center and the Warrensburg Area Career Center. Missouri Valley College’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences will attend, as well as the School of Education and Social Sciences, the School of Business and Technology, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Science and Agriculture, the Honors College, and the Community Counseling master’s program. Community colleges include Moberly Area Community College, State Fair Community College, and the Driver Academy.
The event is built for all — high school students, MVC students, and the community. It is being sponsored by the Rural Student Grant program and KMMO Radio.
