Dr. Thomas Bertoncino

Dr. Tom Bertoncino, ATC is a Professor and Associate Dean in the School of Health Sciences. His degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Athletic Training from Pittsburg State University, a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology from the University of Kansas, an Educational Specialist in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Kansas. Before arriving at MVC, he served as the Chair of the Division of Health Sciences and the Program Director of Athletic Training and Exercise Science at the University of Saint Mary. Prior to USM, he served as the Department Chair and Professor of Athletic Training and Exercise Science. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer and an active member in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association, Kansas Athletic Trainers Society, and Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association.
