Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Teach assigned course(s) as scheduled and outlined in the contract.

Foster student success through engaging instruction and intellectual inquiry.

Develop and distribute a comprehensive syllabus aligned with institutional guidelines.

Conduct regular laboratory sessions in accordance with student learning outcomes.
-
Implement initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes.
-
Provide timely feedback and support to students.
-
Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and productive learning environment.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and administrators.
-
Complete assigned administrative tasks with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Comply with all institutional policies, procedures, and requirements.

Qualifications:

A Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant discipline from an accredited institution is required.

A Terminal Degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., etc.) in the relevant discipline is preferred.

Previous college or university teaching experience is preferred.

Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
Physical Demands:

Ability to teach and engage with students for extended periods.

Capability to stand or sit for prolonged durations.

Online instructors must complete the MVC Online Masterclass.
Work Environment:

Online Instructors: Home office setting.

On-Campus Instructors: Classroom, laboratory, and office settings.

Desktop or laptop computer with webcam and microphone.

Reliable high-speed Internet connection (Chrome browser required).
