Summary
In support of the mission, vision, values, and goals of the college, the dean provides vision, leadership, management, direction, strategic planning, assessment, and evaluation for all academic and faculty affairs of the school. The School of Nursing & Health Sciences is home to MVC Nursing, Exercise Science, and Counseling programs.
Qualifications
Current, active, unencumbered RN license required.
Master’s degree in nursing with a doctoral degree (DNP, PhD, EdD) required; DNP preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of administrative and leadership experience in higher education required.
Demonstrated experience with programmatic accreditation and licensure requirements.

Missouri Valley College has an opening for a creative programmer analyst, responsible for designing, developing, coding, testing, and maintaining a variety of dashboards and reports within Argos and also Microsoft Power Bi, accessing SQL databases within our Ellucian Colleague Student Information System (SIS). Missouri Valley College seeks an energetic senior leader to serve as its next director of athletics.
The director of athletics provides administrative direction and oversight for intercollegiate athletics staff, programs, facilities, and activities. The AD is responsible for overseeing the Missouri Valley College athletic program including planning, implementing, and directing all administrative activities, budgeting, hiring and development of all coaches and athletics staff; fundraising; strategic planning; and monitoring the individual intercollegiate athletic programs.
The AD is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, NAIA, Heart of America Conference and college regulations, administering departmental funds and accounts in a fiscally responsible manner and sustaining and modeling a culture of sportsmanship, professionalism, and respect at all levels. The director also collaborates with student administrative offices and admissions on the recruitment and retention/persistence of student athletes. In addition, the AD ensures quality game experiences for student athletes, families, and guests. The AD works with the Advancement staff to conduct several important fundraising and community events each year.
The athletic director reports directly to the president. The AD maintains oversight of athletics budgets, operational accounts and booster accounts. Moderate travel is required for conference, regional and national meetings, team travel and fundraising visits.

Missouri Valley has an opening for the Director of Public Safety, who is responsible for maintaining public safety on campus, progressive community policing, as well as directing the enforcement of all federal, state, and local laws. The director oversees a full-time police officer and several part time officers.

On call responsibility required; valid license to operate a motor vehicle; must successfully undergo a comprehensive background investigation, eligible to obtain and maintain a commission to carry a firearm. Must possess academic credentials and experience suitable to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Must also possess at least five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in campus safety and protection or other law enforcement with at least three years of experience in a related supervisory position. Experience and knowledge of law enforcement policies and procedures, crime prevention, investigations, training for law enforcement personnel, and life safety programming required.
And must also demonstrate ability to address community concerns in a compassionate, forthright manner and to be visible on campus and to participate in the life of the campus and possess an understanding of mental health issues, as well as the value of having officers trained as mental health officers and being front-line contacts in this area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of higher ed security and law enforcement, higher ed operations, and higher ed traffic and parking control management is preferred, as well as ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese, and understand social media platforms and their use in community engagement, crisis management, and law enforcement
