Samantha Perkins Elected Vice President of MOBIUS

Samantha Perkins, assistant dean of Library & Academic Support Services at Missouri Valley College, has been elected to serve as vice president of the board of directors for MOBIUS, a nonprofit consortium of academic, public, and special libraries that provides access to shared resources and innovative services across the Midwest.

Perkins will serve through summer 2026 before stepping into the role of President for the 2026–2027 term. This leadership role comes during a transformational time for MOBIUS and its member libraries, as the consortium embraces growth, expansion, and redefinition in how libraries connect people with information.

“MOBIUS plays such a vital role in expanding access to knowledge and resources, and I’m honored to help lead the consortium during this important chapter,” Perkins said. “This opportunity not only allows me to grow professionally, but also positions Missouri Valley College to thrive as we strengthen the ways our students and faculty engage with information.”
