Campus living

Living and learning, together.

Our residential communities are at the heart of campus life. They’re open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students, and they’re built to help you feel at home from your first week.

You won’t be on your own. Every living area has a Resident Assistant (RA) and a Resident Coordinator (RC) who look out for the health, safety, and well-being of residents.

Applying for housing

Ready to claim your spot? Complete your housing contract online through the housing portal. You’ll need a new contract each year you live on campus.

Housing requirements

Before you move in.

A few things to know so your move goes smoothly.

  • Housing contract: Everyone living in campus housing completes a housing contract for the current year.
  • First-year students: Freshmen live on campus for their first year. Students in the Drive 60 area are the exception (see the Drive 60 Scholarship).
  • International students: International freshmen live on campus for their first two years.
  • Roommate agreement: You and your roommates each sign an agreement covering your responsibilities and visitation. Visitation begins once everyone has signed and your Resident Coordinator has confirmed it.

What to bring

Move-in made simple.

Every room comes furnished with a dresser, desk, chair, and a twin XL bed. Rooms in Valley Village and Viking Village have full-size beds.

Not sure what to pack? Email housing@moval.edu before move-in day.
