Ways to Give

Choose the part of the Valley that matters most to you.

With a one-time gift, a pledge paid over as many as five years, or a planned gift, you can support:

  • Scholarships and grants for students
  • Academic programs
  • Athletic programs
  • Campus facilities

Funding Priorities

Giving Opportunities

Exciting work is underway at Valley. These five priorities guide how your support helps students and strengthens our community. Find the one that inspires you, and let’s talk.

Annual Support

Missouri Valley Excellence Fund & Annual Scholarships

Annual scholarships help talented students choose Valley and stay through graduation. The Excellence Fund gives MVU flexible resources to meet urgent needs and seize new opportunities: attracting top faculty, upgrading technology, expanding experiential learning, and improving campus life.

Lasting Impact

Endowed Scholarships

Create a permanent fund that supports deserving students every year, for generations. As college costs rise, endowed scholarships remove financial barriers and keep a Valley education within reach for students from all backgrounds.

Career Readiness

Viking Voyage

Help students graduate career-ready. This student career development program is working toward internships and professional certifications in every major, building industry partnerships for job placement, and giving students the tools they need to succeed.

Campus Life & Learning

Facility Improvements

Better places to live and learn:

  • Residence hall upgrades: modernizing Moreland and MacDonald halls, both built before 1960, with new plumbing, electrical, HVAC, common areas, security, ADA accessibility, and student rooms.
  • Marshall Village additions: three new energy-efficient, suite-style residence halls with study lounges, community kitchens, and shared spaces for a growing student body.
  • Agronomy lab: hands-on learning in soil management, crop production, and sustainability, with GPS, drones, biotechnology, and high-speed cameras that track plant growth.

Recognition

Donor Societies

Two ways to be recognized for your lasting commitment to the Valley.

Annual Giving

President’s Society

$1,500 or more per year

An organization whose members provide substantial monetary support to Missouri Valley University. Its name honors all of Missouri Valley’s presidents.

Gifts fund scholarships, academic programs, cultural and artistic programming, and campus maintenance — the work that keeps a Valley education strong. Members commit to a gift of at least $1,500 during a 12-month period and receive a special certificate of recognition.

The society also recognizes its life members. To join or ask about life membership, contact Dallas Hopping at hoppingd@moval.edu.

Planned Giving

Heritage Society

A gift in your estate plans

Recognizes alumni and friends who have included Missouri Valley University in their estate or planned giving.

A will, a beneficiary designation, or another planned gift can be arranged at any level, and it supports students for generations after you.
