Why study here

Create, perform, and tell stories that matter

Hands-on work is at the center of every program, from the studio to the stage to the newsroom.

Studio and design

Build real projects in the studio and the lab, from drawing and printmaking to branding, web design, and motion graphics.

Student media

Get hands-on experience reporting, producing, and broadcasting through student media, including The Missouri Valley Delta and KMVC radio and television.

Perform and publish

Train in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and more in the dance program, and share your writing and art in Purple Patch, MVU’s literary and arts journal.

Prefer to learn online? Interdisciplinary Studies and the Liberal Arts associate degree are offered online, and many Graphic Design options are online or hybrid. See online options.
