James Menz

Professor Jim Menz, MS, CES is originally from the east coast. He was born in eastern Pennsylvania, spending most of his growing years in southern New Jersey. He received a Bachelor’ degree from Villanova University, a Master of Science in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania, and Post-Master Certificates in Rehabilitative Science and Corrective Exercise. He began his exercise science career as a Certified Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist working with a spectrum of clients in a variety of community, athletic, and rehabilitative settings. A very experienced university and college instructor in health and wellness with scholarly achievements in healthcare and exercise science. Besides teaching, he enjoys playing the drums and spending time with his family.
