]]> I think what I most enjoy about Honors is how the honors classes you take bring out different perspectives on different topics. From talking about how everyone has their own narrative and stories to how the history of the world has been influenced by something as mundane as food, I feel like the Honors classes really bring out different perspectives and make you think differently about things that already exist around us. Along with that, the Honors trips are always the highlights of the semester for me since I get to explore places that I would not be able to otherwise.

Delaney Umholtz is from Humboldt, Kansas and is an exercise science major. Delaney is a work study in the Registrar’s Office and is a member of the softball team. Delaney was in the honors program during the 2017-18 academic year and was on dean’s list during the fall 2018 and spring 2017 semesters. Since the fall of 2018, Delaney has been a health promotion intern for Peak Sport and Spine, gaining invaluable hands on experience.

]]> After graduation, Rosemary moved to Richmond, MO where she worked in the Neuro ICU at VCU Medical Center for just under two years. She became certified as a critical care nurse (CCRN) in December 2017. She moved to Portland, ME in January 2018 and started working in the Neuro ICU at Maine Medical Center. After having her daughter in August of last year, she came back to work as a critical care float nurse. She now floats between Neuro, Medical and Surgical/Trauma ICUs. She is applying to FNP schools and hopes to start in the fall.
