Job duties include but are not limited to: Help process all incoming mail and place it in the designated area for pick up, log all packages, sort and distribute the interoffice mail, and processing outgoing mail by weighing and affixing the correct postage by hand or with a meter. Mail Room/Copy Center clerks will also work with volume mailings such as invoices or newsletters, folding items and inserting them into envelopes, or operating automated equipment. Clerks may have other job duties such as storing office supplies, filling correspondence and other documents, photocopying, binding, laminating, cutting, and doing computer data entry. Clerks will need to have excellent hand-eye coordination, good memory, an eye for detail, and be able to process a lot of information while making very few errors. Graphic design and strong computer skills are a plus. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, move or push more than 60 pounds. This job has a fast paced atmosphere and often requires being on your feet for long periods of time, moving large and heavy boxes, and frequent bending and stooping. Job duties include but are not limited to: Cleaning animal cages/kennels, feeding, watering, and handling dogs and cats in a shelter setting, walking, socializing, and grooming dogs and cats. Cleaning the office, and bathroom, assisting visitors to the Shelter depending on the experience of the student. Other various duties may come up. Hours: 8:00am-12:00pm & some afternoons until 4:00pm M-F, some weekends may be required (will work around students schedule).
Requirements: Appropriate dress code required (clothes that can get a little dirty). Someone who is comfortable with and enjoys animals is a must. Need to show up when scheduled.

Attend and participate in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.

Requirements: Appropriate dress for elementary age students.
