The Missouri Valley College Viking Learning Academy provides service learning, experiential learning, practicum and internship opportunities for multiple academic fields, while also providing quality child care to the Missouri Valley College and Marshall communities.

  • The Benefits

The Missouri Valley College Viking Learning Academy works to improve the quality of life and opportunity in the Missouri Valley College Community by:

    • Promoting and providing the Marshall community with quality care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years
    • Enabling the parents of children to pursue higher education by providing quality, convenient and affordable child care
    • Providing service learning, experiential learning opportunities, practicum and internship opportunities for multiple academic fields at Missouri Valley College, including, but not limited to Education, Non-profit Management, Fine Arts, Nursing, Accounting and Exercise Science
    • Providing employee benefits for Missouri Valley College faculty and staff
  • Parent Advisory Board

The Parent Advisory Board is an opportunity for parents and teachers to work together to provide the best experience we can offer our students.

The Parent Advisory Board meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis.  We will announce the meetings via Facebook and notes will go home with your child when and if a meeting is planned.

Since our parents see their child’s teacher every day and the onsite director is available, we don’t meet on a regularly scheduled basis at this time.
