Teaching Abroad

Traveling to a foreign country and living there for a few months can be a life-changing experience. We readily see how valuable an overseas experience is for students, but don't always realize that it is equally gratifying for faculty members. That is why Missouri Valley College encourages its faculty members to explore options for teaching abroad. MVC presently offers its regular, full-time faculty members two kinds of opportunities for teaching abroad.

  • The Summer in London program is available to faculty members who hold an earned terminal degree (M.F.A., Ph.D., etc.) from an accredited institution.
  • Customized study and travel programs are open to any regular, full-time faculty member who would like to design and propose a course that incorporates study and travel.
