The bachelor's of science degree in Exercise Science at Missouri Valley College is geared toward teaching its graduates to become competent fitness professionals; working with either groups or individuals. Graduates with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science are prepared to become professionals in various fitness industries including, corporate health and wellness programs, athletic enhancement companies, collegiate strength and condition programs, and private gyms. The program is designed to provide the foundational framework so that students may obtain additional professional certification or continue their education and obtain graduate degrees in: exercise physiology, motor development, cardiac rehabilitation, kinesiology, biomechanics, and health promotions.

All seniors majoring in Exercise Science are required to take a 3-credit hour Internship.
