Work & Learn

Most resident students participate in the College “Work & Learn” Program. Some students are extended into the federally supported College “Work-Study” Program. Students are assigned to offices, departments, and facilities of the College, and have a vital" hands on” responsibility for the life of the College. These practical work experiences under supervision:

  • Help defray the cost of College education.
  • Develop a sense of the importance and dignity of work.
  • Combined with academic study, build credentials upon graduation for entrance into the public job market.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the College by reducing overhead costs and enabling more College resources to be channeled for educational purposes.
