Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate courses including first-year rhetoric and composition and literature and composition; British literature and world literature on rotation; Renaissance and Shakespeare on rotation. Qualifications: Prospective candidates should have an earned Ph.D. in English. The Department of Theatre, Music and Dance at Missouri Valley College, invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Design (Scenic/Lighting Design). Missouri Valley College is a 1400 student, private liberal arts college offering the BA and BFA degrees in Theatre with concentrations in musical theatre, performance, technical theatre, and education; minors in dance and music. Facilities include a 270-seat proscenium main stage and a flexible black box theatre.
Responsibilities: Oversight of all technical aspects of theatre including: teach courses in scenic design and other design & production areas, as well as classes in theatre arts; design scenery, lighting, and technical direction of all productions; supervise properties, facility management.
Qualifications: MA/MFA degree in scenic/lighting design; experience teaching design in a college setting; ability to teach other courses in area of expertise. Practical knowledge and experience in Auto CAD, model making, scene painting, and technical direction a must; professional design experience and costume experience desired.

Position 1: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate courses in finance, and economics. A strong economics and finance background is helpful in this position.
Additionally, the ideal applicant will provide oversight for the management and coordination of international recruiting and international admission, as well as academic advising of international students as the International Student Coordinator. The International Student Coordinator will report to the Director of Admissions.
Position 2: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate courses in management and quantitative courses. A strong management and quantitative background is helpful in this position.
Additionally, the ideal applicant will assume total responsibility for the Men's Soccer program as Head Men’s Soccer Coach. Primary coaching responsibilities will include the successful identification, evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes, and the ongoing support and encouragement that lead such individuals successfully to graduation. Administrative responsibilities include managing the operating and recruiting budgets as well as fundraising activities, implementing a development program and supervision of assistant coaches. At least two years coaching experience is required. The Head Men’s Soccer Coach will report to the Missouri Valley College Athletic Director.
