Lilian Blasque Earns Regional ITA Award

Marshall, Mo. (May 17, 2017)- Missouri Valley College women’s tennis student-athlete, Senior Lilian Blasque (Andradina, Brazil) has earned a regional award from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for her play during the 2017 season. 


Blasque has been named the ITA Central Region Senior Player of the Year after leading the women’s tennis team to an 11-6 record on the season.  This is the second individual award Blasque has earned for her play during the season, as she was recently named the Women’s Tennis Player of the Year in her conference for the second-straight year.  Also, Blasque was named to the all-conference first team for the fourth-straight, and was placed on the all-conference doubles team for the third-straight year with teammate Senior Beatriz Sales (Botucatu, Brazil).


The NAIA will announce the 2017 Women’s Tennis All-America Team May 23.
