Brudette Named to Baseball All-Conference Team

Marshall, Mo. (May 10, 2017)- Missouri Valley College baseball student-athlete Senior Catcher Bryce Burdette (Shawnee, Kan.) has been named to the 2017 Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference Baseball Team for his play during the past season.


Burdette, and honorable mention selection to the all-conference team, finishing the 2017 season as the team-leader in games played and games started (51), at-bats (161), runs scored (37), doubles (12), homeruns (3), total bases (56) and walks (32).  He also finished third in total hits (43) and second in RBI’s (23).  Burdette produced four three-hit games during the season.


This is the second all-conference selection for Burdette during his career at Missouri Valley.  He was also an honorable mention choice following the 2015 season.


The Viking baseball team finished the season with a 17-34 record, and a 7-25 record in conference games.
