Six Student-Athletes Receive NAIA Scholar Honors

Marshall, Mo. (March 22, 2017)- The NAIA has announced the 2017 Winter Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes.  To be eligible for this honor student-athletes must be nominated by their institution’s head coach, must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status in the classroom.

 

Missouri Valley College had six student-athletes achieve this honor;

Alexis Boyd-Lockett (Sr., St. Paul, Minn.)-Women’s Basketball

Lindsey Denney (Sr., Everton, Mo.)-Women’s Basketball

Tessa Ramsay (Sr., Melbourne, Australia)-Women’s Basketball

Ana Trost (Jr., Aurora, Colo.)-Women’s Basketball

Brittany Brackman (Sr., Staunton, Ill.)-Cheer

Summer Howe (Sr., Lawson, Mo.)-Cheer
