Viking Football Announces 2017 Recruiting Class

Marshall, Mo. (February 1, 2017)- The Missouri Valley College football program has announced its 2017 Signing Class.  The class currently sits at 38 student-athletes, coming in from six different states.


The 2017 class features 23 signees from the state of Missouri, seven from Texas, three from Arizona, two from South Dakota, two from Florida and one from Illinois.


“We are very excited about everyone that has signed to continue their education and football career at Missouri Valley,” said Football Head Coach Paul Troth.  “We have a very talented class coming in, and that’s due to all the hard work the coaching staff has put in during the recruiting process.”


The Viking football team is coming off a 2016 season that included a 9-3 overall record and an appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series.  The Vikings also finished the season ranked No. 11 in the postseason coaches’ poll.
