The No. 3 Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team captured a second-straight GRLC Division II Conference title Sunday and have now earned the No. 3 overall seed at the upcoming MCLA Division II National Tournament.

The Vikings will play their first round game against No. 14 seed Siena Heights (Mich.) University.  The game will be played May 11 at 1 p.m. (CST) on the campus of UC-Ivine in Irvine, Calif.

The two teams share one common opponent from regular season play, as both teams played No. 5 seed Grand Vallley State (Mich.) University.  The Vikings defeated GVSU on April 3 by a 10-9 score while Siena Heights lost its matchup with Grand Valley on April 10 by a 7-6 score.  The Vikings are 11-1 on the season and earned an automatic bid into the National Tournament.  Siena Heights is 11-2 on the season and earned an at-large bid out of the CCLA Division II conference.

This is the second-straight year the Vikings have earned a bid into the National tournament.  Last season, the Vikings were the No. 15 seed and lost to the No. 2 seed, and eventual National runner-up, St. Johns (Minn.) University, 13-10.  The MCLA Division II Tournament runs from May 11-16.
