Benoit Wesly has over 35 years experience as an entrepreneur in the Hotel Restaurant and Travel Industry in Europe and in the US.
He is the founder and owner of the Xelat Group with operations in Maastricht, The Netherlands and Herzliya, Israel.
He is a member of the supervisory board of the leading Dutch catering company Maison van den Boer B.V. and N.V. Mensec, theatre, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
Benoit Wesly is president of the Jewish community in the province of Limburg and president of the Foundation Collective Maror Funds. Dr. Wesly has a diploma from the Hoge Hotelschool of Maastricht and is Doctor of Humane Letters at Central Missouri State University.
In May 2004 he received an Honorary Doctorate in Business and Economics from Missouri Valley College. He also received the Scopus Award from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
