Terrence Mickens II
Terrence I am referred to as the "Number One, Hyperactive, Unpredictable Artist" and my name is Terrence D. C. Mickens II. I am a senior double- majoring in vocal music and theatre performance. I sing, act, and dance and I possess an abundance of moxie that was given to me by The Great Creator of Art. My favorite styles of dance are Tap, Jazz, and Modern. This is my first year on the Repertory Dance Ensemble at Missouri Valley College. After I graduate, I want to start with cruise entertainment, but my dream is to perform in places such as the Apollo Theatre, the Lyceum Theatre, Broadway, and Europe as well. I want to be a superheroic performer who brings peace and hope to the world. My greatest superpowers are my compassion and my enthusiasm. I fight for acceptance and to constantly shatter the limitations that people have set for me ever since I was born. I fight for prime performance and I VOW TO WIN! Until I change the world with my harmonious art and become a superheroic artist, I don't care what happens; I am not going to die! As the Marines say, 'Semper Fi"!

I'm 21 years old. I am an Economics major and minor in Accounting. I am from Japan and have been dancing since I was 7 years old. My favorite style of dance are ballet and modern dance. I was in one of the Japanese ballet company called Matsuyama Ballet Company, and belonged to dance club for six years in junior and high school. I am originally from Kansas and I moved to Marshall in 8th grade. I have been dancing for 10 years. I am a hip hop dancer and I also do drill. I have a little experience in jazz but I eventually dropped out of jazz and stayed focus on hip hop and drill team. I graduated from Marshall High School but continued to dance in Kansas until my sophomore year. It became a little hard for us to afford the traveling back and forth from Kansas to Marshall so I just focus on drill team in the summer where I could stay in Kansas for a while and not have to travel constantly.
I currently am a member in Repertory Dance Ensemble at Missouri Valley college. I was given a scholarship to dance for their dance team. I hoping to break some barriers here, and challenge myself to learn new forms of dance that I have never tried before, and become an even better dancer than before.
