Joshua Steven Allred

Joshua Steven Allred is a freshman from Kansas City, MO. Joshua has been dancing for two years and has won Judge's Choice Awards on the regional and national level. Favorite show is So You Think You Can Dance. Favorite style of dance is contemporary.


Shirley Binkley

Shirley Binkley

Shirley Binkley is an 18-year old freshman from Phoenix, Arizona, who started formally taking lessons two years ago. She started late but danced 18 hours a week. She began at Arizona Sunray's dance and gymnastics and soon after joined the competitive company there. While on their company, she started a dance club at Polaris High School which she taught Jazz and Hip Hop. She has also choreographed for show choir and got a job at 13th Floor Haunted House as a Zombie Dancer during the Halloween season. Now she is taking the next step and majoring in Dance at MVC.


Aubree Brooke

Aubree Brooke

Aubree Brooke is a 19-year old transfer student. She has been dancing since the age of 3. Through the experiences and hardhips she has gone through, she has grown to love and appreciate the movement and the beauty of dance. She believes it brings out so much inner beauty of a person. Aubree plans to double major in dance and exercise science at Missouri Valley College. Her dream is to help people in whatever way she can, by encouraging and uplifing their heart in whatever ways God calls her to do. She has trained in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and characterization. Her favorite styles are contemporary, improvisation, ballet and modern.


Ashlen Bryant

Ashlen Bryant is a transfer, who is returning back to MOVAL as a music education major and a dance minor. She has been dancing since the age of four. Her favorite styles are jazz and hip-hop. Over the years Ashlen has danced with many companies and dance teams. The most recent dance team she has performed with are, The Showstoppers, a hip-hop dance team based out of Cape Girardeau, MO. Ashlen is excited to be back with her MOVAL family and is even more excited about dancing with the RDE this year.


Rebeca Daólio

Rebeca Daólio

Rebeca Daólio is 19, and has been studying dance since she was 10. Her favorite styles of dance are modern and ballroom. Rebeca is from Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, and was a foreign exchange student at Robinsdale Cooper High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a teacher's assistant at Academica Paulo Zanandré, the Brazilian academy where she studied ballroom. She is very excited to be a Dance Major at Valley this year. She is unsure what the future holds for her, and is keeping her options open. She has considered teaching, and owning her own studio.


Sulma Caballero

Sulma Yasenia

Sulma Yasenia was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. She is currently a senior and her major is Performance Theater and Repertory Dance Ensemble's Manager. She loves to dance to latin music that includes Bachata, Merengue, and Salsa. She will was in the MVC production The Nosemaker's Apprentice, as the Queen of France.

Rachel LaGrou

Rachel LaGrou

Rachel LaGrou is a 20-year old transfer student at Missouri Valley College. She grew up dancing in her hometown of Omak, Washington, starting with ballet and jazz at the age of four and progressed to tap, hip-hop, musical theater, lyrical, and modern also doing a national tour with Dance Caravan, workshops and competitions, and performing with The Moscow Ballet. Rachel graduated with her Associates of Arts in Dance from Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri, and has enjoyed continuing her training here at Missouri Valley.


Kelby Lawson

Kelby Lawson

Kelby Lawson, a 2011 graduate of Carrollton High School, is an excited Sophomore at Valley! She has been dancing since age 5 at Shapes Dance and Acro Studio, and has competed for the past 10 years. Along with being a student of the studio, she has been teaching classes to children between the ages of 3 and 15. Now, Kelby is taking the next step in her dance career by majoring in dance so that one day she will be able to own her own studio and continue to teach children to reach for their dreams.


Mason McCloud

Mason McCloud

Mason McCloud, a 3rd generation MVC Viking is an 18-year old freshman majoring in Musical Theatre. He has been dancing since the age of three. Some highlights of his dance experiences have been dancing on various stages in Branson and Radio City Music Hall in New York City. For the past four years, Mason has been preforming at the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, MO.


Torey Miller

Torey Miller

Torey Miller began her dance training at the young age of two. Currently as a junior, she is a Dance major. She is also co-owner, head instructor and choreographer of Broadway Bound Dance Studio. Throughout her years of dance, Torey has obtained many competitive titles and choreography awards at both regional and national levels. She enjoys expanding her knowledge of dance daily and loves to share it with her own students. Teaching dance is her passion in life and one day she aspires to have a dance studio of her own. She is thrilled to once again be part of Missouri Valley’s Repertory Dance Ensemble!


Bradford Scott

Bradford Scott

Bradford Scott is currently a senior at Missouri Valley College. He is a Theatre Major with a minor in Business. He has been dancing for about 6 years now and has been a part of the Repertory Dance Ensemble for the past 5 years. His repertoire includes Modern, Jazz and Ballet. He is also involved in Concert Choir, Show Choir, Theatre, Greek Life, SGA and a student mentor.


Rebecca Whitsett

Rebecca Whitsett

Rebecca Whitsett is a native of Joplin, Missouri. She started dancing at the age of five and has not stopped dancing since. Growing up, she trained at Karen’s Dance Studio of Joplin and The Dancers’ Studio of Carthage. She began sharing her love of dance through teaching at the age of fifteen, and her future plans are to own her own dance studio. She received an Associates of Arts in Dance from Cottey College in May of 2011 and is very excited to continue dance training here at Missouri Valley College and graduate with a BA in dance this spring.


Janie D. R. Morgan, Artistic Director

Janie D. R. Morgan Assistant Professor of Dance, received her MFA in Dance from Arizona State University (ASU) and her BFA in Related Arts/Dance from Kutztown University. Janie has had the privilege of working with many choreographers, including Nora Chipaumire, Liz Lerman, Columbine Macher, Carley Conder and Michael Baxter. She has also performed for the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, MO; Radio Healer of Phoenix, AZ; Dance Arizona Repertory Theater (DART) of Tempe, AZ; and Performing Dance Portmanteau of Kutztown, PA. Janie’s choreography has also been performed through out Pennsylvania, Arizona and Missouri. She is thrilled to be in her fifth year teaching at Valley and Directing RDE.
