Spencer Fricke received a B.S. degree from Missouri Valley College in Social Studies in 1966, a M.S. degree from the University of Central Missouri in Guidance/Counseling in 1970, and an Ed. Spec. degree from the University of Missouri in Administration/Higher Education in 1976. He taught social studies and language arts at the secondary level from 1966-1970 as well as serving as a guidance counselor from 1970-1976. He was Assistant Principal of Bueker Middle School from 1976-1984 and Principal from 1984 to 1996. During that time, he served as a member of the DESE Committee for Missouri School Improvement Plan. Mr. Fricke was also a member of the state Guidance Advisory Committee and served as President for both the MCV Alumni and UCM Alumni Advisory Boards from 2004-2008. In 2009, he was named Outstanding MVC Alumni.
Mr. Fricke has taught at Missouri Valley College since 1998 teaching graduate courses through Lindenwood College, as well as education classes as an adjunct instructor. In 2008 he and his wife became the Co-Directors of the Learning Center and Mr. Fricke continues to teach Education classes.
