Katherine
M. Adams has a B. S. in Science with a major in mathematics
from Mississippi University for Women, 1988; an M. S. in
Mathematics from University of Missouri-Rolla, 1991; and
a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Missouri-Rolla,
1998.
She is a member of the American Mathematical Society, Association
for Women in Mathematics, and the Mathematical Association
of America. She has published in Colloquium Mathematicum
and the Publications de L'Institut Mathematique.
Adams has taught a wide range of mathematic courses from
beginning algebra to differential equations, linear algebra,
and modern geometry. Particularly enjoys teaching the history
of mathematics. Research interest is in analysis with emphasis
on abstract harmonic analysis. |
