Advisory Board

The HT advisory board consists of ten to twelve members with expertise in the fields of dining services, local/organic food production, lodging and tourism.  Board members bring strategic alliances to the table that assist the college in its goal of producing young professionals capable of positively impacting economic development through tourism in small towns and rural areas.

The advisory board mission is to assist in strategic planning for the new Hospitality & Tourism degree program at Missouri Valley College in Marshall with a goal of developing the premier Hospitality & Tourism program in the state.  To assist in the development of a degree program that focuses on regional tourism, sustainable living, and promoting local foods and talent.
