Coach Daniel AllenHead Coach Daniel Allen, a Perry, Okla. native enters his second season as Head Coach of Viking softball program.

Coach Allen was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1996 Major League Baseball draft.  He attended the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997 where he played baseball for the NCAA Division II National Runner-up Broncho’s before transferring to Missouri Valley College.  Allen was a member of the 2001 MVC regional champion baseball team, earning all-American honors as an outfielder. 

Coach Allen received his Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing from MVC and a master’s degree in business management from Lindenwood University. Coach Allen and his wife, Tiffany and two children, Mya and Isiah reside in Marshall, Mo.
