Drew Hawkins begins his fourth year with the Missouri Valley College soccer program, and his second year as head coach of the Lady Viking’s Varsity squad. Coach Hawkins is a native of Independence, Mo. He played four years under Coach Vladimir Simic at Missouri Valley College where he was team captain his junior and senior years. Coach Hawkins received NAIA all-American scholar athlete honors and Region V scholar athlete honors during his playing career at Missouri Valley. Coach Hawkins graduated from Missouri Valley College in May 2006, with a bachelor's degree in English and criminal justice. After graduation, Coach Hawkins became the assistant men’s soccer coach for two seasons. Coach Hawkins assisted with the varsity program and was in charge of the junior varsity program that saw back-to-back winning seasons. He assisted with the development of junior varsity players that are currently contributing varsity players. Coach Hawkins graduated in May of 2008 with a master’s degree in educational administration.

 

 

 

Eric Kerwood

Graduate Assistant Women's Soccer

Eric Kerwood is entering his second season as the graduate assistant women's soccer coach for Missouri Valley College. Coach Kerwood is originally from Blue Springs, Mo., and played four years for the MVC men's soccer program under Coach Vladimir Simic. Coach Kerwood received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science with an emphasis in health and fitness from MVC in 2008. He is currently working on his master’s degree in business management.
