1991 Varsity Women's Soccer Team

The 1991-92 Missouri Valley College women’s soccer team finished its season as NAIA National Runner-Ups with a 20-4-1 record, losing to Pacific Lutheran in the NAIA National Championship game.

This team produced three all-American selections (Anita Mose, Lisa Stockert, and Tina Duenow), four National all-tournament selections (Anita Mose, Lisa Stockert, Suzanne Wentz, and Cindy Bowmann), and one National scholar-athlete (Anita Mose).

Other than wrestling and football, women’s soccer is the only other sport at MVC to compete in a final match for the National championship.

This team will be the first soccer individual or team to be inducted in the MVC Athletic Hall of Fame.
