Jennifer Jackmon Kolman
Class of 2003
Jennifer Jackmon Kolman graduated from Missouri Valley College with honors in 1984 earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. Jennifer was a four-year letter winner in softball, earning NAIA All-District honors. Jennifer was a member of the women’s basketball team that reached the playoffs each of the two years she participated.
Jennifer was active in Gamma Sigma National Service Sorority, Women’s Varsity Athletic Organization, and the College Activities Board. During her last year of college she was the assistant softball coach. Jennifer began her coaching career at Marshall High School in 1984. During eight years at Marshall she coached basketball, volleyball, and track. Jennifer also implemented a Special Olympics program for high school special education students.
Jennifer left Marshall High School to become an assistant softball coach in Gainesville, Florida. Jennifer now teaches and coaches basketball, volleyball, and track in Savannah, Georgia. In 2000 Jennifer coached her track team to the city championship. Jennifer has also recently completed her Master’s Degree.
