Class of 2000

Larry graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1960.  Larry was a leader by example earning Co-Captain football honors in 1959, as well as, an All-Conference selection and Little All-American nomination.

Before coming to Missouri Valley College, Larry made a name for himself at the Granite City High School and Roxanna High School.  Just a few honors earned were Co-Captain, All-Conference, and Special Mention All-State.

Following graduation from Missouri Valley College, Larry was a teacher and coach in Missouri, Illinois, and Florida.  30 years of his 37 year education career was spent at South Broward High School in Hollywood, Florida.  From 1970-75 Larry was the South Broward head football coach, twice earning the area newspapers Coach of the Year honors.

Larry retired in July of 1998, and now enjoys attending craft shows, fishing and traveling with his wife, Frances Lee, his four children, and six grandchildren.
