Kevin Hart
Class of 1998

Kevin graduate from Missouri Valley College in 1976 earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education majoring in Physical Education and Health with a minor in Social Studies.

During his time at Valley Kevin was a four-year basketball letterman, scoring 1,340 career points.  Kevin earned Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference honors two years.

Kevin taught in the Hughesville School District one year, before joining the Marshall School District in 1977.  Kevin has worked for the Marshall District ever since, teaching social studies and physical education and coaching cross country, basketball and football.  From 1990 to 1996 Kevin also served as the school’s athletic director.

Kevin earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1995, and is the Assistant Principal at Bueker Middle School.

Kevin is married to Terri and has three sons, Derek, Brian, and Lucas.  Kevin continues to coach youth baseball, basketball and soccer through programs at the YMCA and Optimist Club.  Kevin is a member of the Marshall Teachers Association, the Missouri State Teachers Association and St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
