William “Bill” Perrin
Class of 1996
William Perrin, known as Bill graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a major in Physical Education, later going on to earn his Masters Degree.
Bill played halfback and punted for the Vikings, and also participated on the track during his four years at Missouri Valley College. Bill was also a member of the V-Club and Future Teachers of America.
When Bill was released from the military he started his teaching and coaching career at Alton High School as an assistant football coach and track coach leading his track team to a state championship.
Bill was later the assistant track coach at Indiana University, working his way up to head track coach at Wisconsin University.
After his teaching and coaching career concluded Bill traveled the Midwest selling his Strength Building Equipment. Bill was inducted into the Missouri Valley College Athletic Hall of Fame posthumously.
