Everett Rehkop

Everett was solid player for the Missouri Valley College basketball teams Coached by Grover Redford.  Everett was always a fierce rebounder on the court, and an excellent offensive threat all while playing the sport in such an unselfish manner.  Everett was a member of the basketball team that represented Missouri Valley College in the 1961 NAIA National Tournament (32 teams) held in Kansas City at Municipal Auditorium.

Everett graduated from Missouri Valley College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics in 1962, later earning his Master’s Degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis in 1966.

Everett returned to Missouri Valley College to teach in the Department of Economics from 1966 to 1978.  Everett followed Valley by entering into farming full-time, and has continued doing so on his acreage near Blackburn, MO.
