Daniel Kratzer
Class of 1987
Dan graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1971, and was captain of the football team his senior year. Dan excelled at the split end position earning All-Conference and All-District honors, and in 1970 Dan earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors. The 1971 team voted Dan as most valuable player in several categories. During his senior year Dan was also named Mr. Viking.
In 1972 Dan was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals, and in 1976 earned his Masters Degree from Central Missouri State University. Dan has taught at high schools and colleges in the Midwest and most recently at Ohio Northern University and Indiana University, he has also been involved with the San Francisco 49er’s training camp.
Dan is presently the Head Football Coach at Richmond (MO) High School.
Dan and his wife Suzanne have two children Danielle and Reggis.
