Missouri Valley College Hall of Fame

Robert Thomas

Class of 1983

Robert graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1968.  During his time at Valley Robert earned four letters in football, three in track, and two in baseball.  Robert earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mention Honors and Sigma Nu First Team All-American honors.

Following graduation Robert worked as the assistant football and track coach at Pacific (MO) High School, until he was drafted into the United States Army.  After two years of service Robert was discharged and returned to Pacific High School to resume his coaching duties.  One year later Robert was named the athletic director, head football coach, and head track coach.  While at Pacific Robert continued his education and earned his Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from St. Louis University.  Since 1978 Robert has held the position of Assistant Principal of Pacific High School.

Robert and his wife Carol have two children Erin and Emily.
