Jack Hearn

Class of 1983

Jack graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1947 and went on to earn his Master of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 1949.

During his public education career Jack worked for Malta Bend, Excelsior Springs, and the Kansas City School Districts, as a teacher in Mathematics and Science, Principal, and coached basketball, track, and football.

In 1955 Jack went to work for the Missouri Portland Cement Company as a Personnel and Safety Supervisor in the Kansas City Plant.  Jack was later transferred to the company plant in southern Illinois to become the Services Supervisor.  Since 1977 Jack has served as the Vice-President of Industrial Relations at the corporate offices in St. Louis.

Jack and his wife Jean have three children Judy, David, and Barbara.
