Ron Hall
Class of 1971
Ron graduated from Missouri Valley College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1959. Ron was a four-year letterman in football and participated in track and field. During his football career Ron played in four post-season bowl games and earned All-Conference honors.
Following graduation from Missouri Valley College Ron continued his football career playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1959 and 1960; from 1961 to 1967 he played for the Boston Patriots (now New England Patriots) and was selected to the All-AFL Team in both 1963 and 1964. Ron held three of the Patriots interceptions records: most interceptions in one season – 11, most interceptions in one game – 3, and most interceptions in a career – 29. In 1971 Ron was inducted into the Boston Patriots Hall of Fame.
Ron has been a teacher and coach in public schools and has experience at the Kansas City School District, and Liberty (MO) School District. At Liberty Ron has been a Physical Education teacher and football coach (named head football coach in 1970). Ron led his 1971 and 1972 football teams to the Suburban Conference Championships and was named the Suburban 8 Conference Coach of the Year in 1971.
