Jordan Dickson - Head Golf Coach
Jordan Dickson will be taking over the Men's and Women's Golf programs at Missouri Valley College, starting with the fall 2012 season. Dickson comes in after finishing up a four-year playing career for the Vikings, which included being a HAAC Medalist during the 2012 conference tournament.
Prior to his playing time at Missouri Valley College, Coach Dickson played golf at Ash Grove High School, and was apart of three state championship teams.
Coach Dickson recieved a B.A. in Recreation, and a B.A. in Human Servies at Missouri Valley College, and his pursuing a Master's in Sports Managment from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
Jim Anderson - Assistant Golf Coach
Jim Anderson, enters his 44td year of coaching and his 11th year as the Vikings golf coach. Coach Anderson was voted the HAAC Golf Coach of the Year for the men in 2003 and 2007 and in 2005 and 2007 for the women's team. He was selected to the Webster Groves High School All- Century Football Team in 2007.
Anderson has recently coached two golfers to the national level. In 2007, Raphiel Marguery finished 23rd overall and in 2008, Craig Gibson ended competition with a 6th place finish.
Coach Anderson is a 1969 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where he was a three-year starter for the Tiger football team. He was named All-Big 8 in 1968 and was the fifth-round draft choice of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles.
Anderson has coached at every level and prides himself on his ability to communicate with his athletes.
Coach Anderson and his wife, Pat, currently reside in Marshall.
