The Missouri Valley College cross country program is developing under Coach Pickens. Right now, he is looking runners who love the sport and will give a consistent effort. Runners from a variety of backgrounds compete for MVC. Coming from across Missouri, as well as other states, Valley attracts both freshmen and junior college transfers.

As an athlete at Missouri Valley College, you'll have the chance to compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The HAAC has produced many top 25 teams on both the men's and women's side in recent years. While the top teams are very competitive, Coach Pickens' teams are making strides and plan to compete for the conference titles.
