Lee Peekmayfield

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a broadcast management emphasis in 1996, Lee Peek spent several years at Y107 and Clear 99 in Columbia, Mo., before relocating to Wisconsin. Today an award-winning morning drive-time show, Great Country Mornings, on 103.7 WDEZ in Wausau, Wis.

Lee and his drive-time partner, Nikki, were named “Personalities of the Year.”  Their Breast Cancer Awareness campaign received top honors, and his “Redneck Vacation Promotional Announcement” won first place in the Wisconsin Broadcasters’ Association. WDEZ-FM swept the categories for mid-market radio in Wisconsin.

He and his wife, Amy, have two daughters, Abby, and Maren.
