Frank MassaroFrank Massaro '76

Frank was born on April 22, 1954 in Brooklyn New York. His parents, Anthony & Lucy, were children of Italian immigrants. His grandmother, Josephine, entered the United States through Ellis Island in New York. Frank is now an immigration lawyer in Manhattan.

Frank graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1976 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Frank then went on to law school and obtained his law degree from DePaul University in Chicago. While at Valley, Frank received the Outstanding Wrestler Award and was named Honor Active of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.

Frank has been practicing Immigration Law for over 30 years. He has his own private practice in Manhattan and he is also "Of Counsel" to the law firms of Jacoby & Meyers, Fine Olin & Anderman, and Finkelstein & Partners. As "Of Counsel" he serves as the expert on all immigration matters to these three firms while maintaining his private practice. Frank is a long time member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Frank and his wife Lynn live in Secaucus, New Jersey (a 10 minute train ride to Penn Station in Manhattan). They have been married for 22 years and live on the Hackensack River with their 2 cats, Shim Shim and Siyah Notte which means "Black Night" in Italian and Turkish. Siyah is in fact a black cat.

Both Frank and Lynn are active members in the Hackensack Riverkeeper organization (HRK) where Frank serves on the Board of Trustees. HRK is a non-profit organization devoted to environmental issues on the Hackensack River.
