Each year hundreds of students attending colleges nationwide receive ROTC scholoarships. ROTC awards them to students studying science, engineering, nursing and business, as well as a variety of other majors. ROTC scholarship is a merit-based full-tuition scholarship.
Scholarship Requirements:
Be a citizen of the United States.
High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Pass a physical.
Pass an Army Physical Fitness Test.
Have no civil convictions.
Have an ACT score of at least 19 or an ACT score of at least 920.
have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Have no moral or personal conviction that prevents soldier from supporting and defending the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and conscientiously bearing arms.
Ability ot complete program before 30.
Not be a single parent unless the cild/children have been placed in the custody of the other parent, adult.
Scholarship Benefits:
$300 monthly cadet pay during Freshman academic year.
$350 monthly cadet pay during Sophomore academic year.
$450 monthly cadet pay during Junior academic year.
$500 monthly cadet pay during Senior academic year.
Tuituion / Room and Board.
Academic fees.
$1200 per year for books.
SGLI (Life Insurance) $400,000.
$5000 Bonus for contracting by December 2009.
